15 September 2015 -  Technology has transformed so many aspects of our lives. Computer aided design, robotic manufacturing and online sales have revolutionised industries, big and small. Our daily lives have benefited too, from PC's to smartphones and Amazon to Google our work, our chores and our entertainment have felt the impact of the technology revolution. Schools are not immune to progress, however Andreas Schleicher the OECD Education Director, reports that the reality of IT in schools (and its effect on teaching and learning) still lags behind the transformational promise of technology. |
